Use the calculator above when determining the correct pressure to use when force carbonating your beer for a particular style. Begin by selecting a beer style from the pull-down menu. An average carbonation level for the selected style will appear in the “Volumes of CO2” box. If you wish, however, you can manually enter a value in the “Volumes of CO2” box instead. Next, enter the temperature in Fahrenheit at which you will be force carbonating. The recommended carbonating PSI will be indicated in the “Suggested Pressure” box.
